Rules and Procedures

The mission of Wonder Kids Academy.

To create a safe, warm and suitable environment for children from 9 months to 6 years of age, integrating modern methodology and an English curriculum for intellectual and emotional development.

Licence.

Wonder Kids Academy is licensed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Kosovo.

Application.

Children can be registered by completing the online application at www.wonderkids.al, separately for each child.

Review of applications.

Applications are reviewed throughout the year. Parents are informed of the admission date in good time.

Absences.

Parents must report absences in advance in the app. In the case of an absence of more than one month, parents pay 50% of the monthly fee to keep the place.

Leaving the programme.

Notice of leaving is given in writing at least one month before the end of the cooperation.

Drop-off hours.

Children are received only from 07:30 to 08:30.

Safety.

Only persons authorised by the parents may pick up the child. Any change to the authorised persons is to be notified in advance.

The authorised persons and the pick-up code are changed by the parent in the app, on the child’s profile.

Health condition.

Parents submit the vaccination documents and report any particular health condition of the child.

Illness and returning to the kindergarten.

The child must be fully recovered before returning, to prevent the spread of infections.

Medication.

Wonder Kids Academy does not give out medication during the child’s stay.

Emergencies.

In urgent cases, parents are informed immediately. In serious cases, emergency medical help is called.

Language of communication.

Activities are conducted mainly in Albanian and partly in English, following the English-style curriculum.

Clothing.

Children are dressed in comfortable clothes suitable for the weather. Comfortable trainers are recommended.

Personal toys.

Bringing toys or costumes from home is not allowed, to avoid differences between children.

Birthdays.

Birthdays are celebrated at Wonder Kids Academy, under the care of the staff, and fruit and biscuits are offered.

Jewellery.

Children do not bring jewellery (chains, earrings, etc.), to avoid loss or the risk of injury.

Cleanliness and health.

Staff take care of maintaining hygiene during daily activities. It is ensured that children are clean and healthy.

Contacting staff.

Parents may contact the administration during the day for information about the child’s well-being. Teachers may not reply to messages immediately during working hours, because they are dedicated to the children’s activities and care. Every message is handled as soon as possible.

Photographs of children.

For parents who agree, photographs may be published on the official website www.wonderkids.al and on the kindergarten’s social media, for information and documentation purposes.

Permission for photographs is given or withdrawn by the parent in the app, and applies from the moment it is changed.

Personal belongings.

Wonder Kids Academy is not responsible for jewellery, toys or other personal items brought from home.

Changes to services.

Any change to the services is notified in advance and discussed with parents for approval.
